The Westwood Online IGDA Game Development Club was founded by the students at WOL (Westwood Online). With a growing thirst for knowledge and experience a group of students united with the goal of creating a name for the students at Westwood.

The initial group was small, but their idea was big. To create a place where the students could come together and work on a game project, online. The initial credit goes to the students that founded "Misfitgraphics", better known as "The Dirty Project".

Soon they found that they weren't the only students at WOL that had a growing appetite to push their limits beyond the course work and get a taste of real development. And Thus, the Westwood Online IGDA Game Development Club was born.The Club is a growing tool for the students to come together under, to learn, socialize, network, and most importantly...Create.

After a few short months the club continues to rise, with over 120 members, 8 active game creation teams, regular meetings, events, contests, roundtables and anything else that can be used to quench the thirst for knowledge. We're extrememly pround of what our members have done, as well as for the things we know they willl accomplish in the future.
